Waimate’s outdoor pool stays warm through the season, giving families, learners and lap swimmers a place to cool off, play and get active.
The Norman Kirk Memorial Swimming Pool
The pool is open October through to March.
Facilities include a six-lane heated pool, a paddling pool for toddlers, grassy areas for picnics, shade and seating, basic changing facilities, a BBQ area, and a small kiosk for snacks.
There is an entry fee set by Council each year. Casual swims, concessions and seasonal options are available.
Swimming lessons and club activities run separately during the season.
